So, my mother in law...

...wakes up this morning as we're making pancakes and decides she needs to make them too and starts washing all the dishes including ours that we were'nt ready to wash yet and starts yelling about us using the wrong frying pan. Of course this is all directed at her son even though it was my idea to use that frying pan because that's the one that doesn't make the pancakes come out looking like oozing blobs. Of course, I could have also used the brand new set of Teflon that we have just sitting in our bedroom as if it were a decorative table. But that would raise a whole new slew of questions, What happens to our table now? Where do we put the pots and pans when we're done? Do we store them in her cabinets next to her pots and pans? It would only make sense. It is clearly the most sensible thing to do in a household ruled by logic, but not here. Here doing the sensible thing would only raise more questions, therefore, defeating the purpose of logic being to simplify our lives in the most practical manner.
So, we give up on moving on to French Toast.
